Underground Automation Project
Scope:
SEC completed the installation and commissioning of all automation equipment supporting the block cave operation at Northparkes. This included underground control systems, instrumentation, communications, and integration with the mine’s automation platform.
Result:
A key project for the mine, the automation upgrade improved operator safety and enhanced the economic performance of the underground operation.
